Greggs’ Caramel custard doughnut

Ok, this one is special. A caramel custard doughnut sold at the uk’s biggest bakery chain. *warning, this is a coil killer* WF glazed donut, VTA croissant, WF crispy wafer and fluffy white cake Are the doughnut (no playdoh here). FA premium custard is the absolute perfect custard to use to get that type of custard found in this doughnut, it’s almost as if FA premium custard was fashioned after the custard found in the profile at hand. fantasy salted caramel is by far the best salted caramel on the market, I have tried nothing like it, the salt content, the sweetness, the authenticity... the only problem is that it’s a coil killer so I’ve used it low and backed it up with CC/CCW salted caramel. Marshmallow and super sweet has been used in conjunction with one another to layer the sweetness and stay true to profile as these doughnuts are very sweet. Drop the Sucralose out if you wish but I suggest you keep it in if you want it to taste like the Greggs doughnut. If you like this recipe and what I do then please rate and review accordingly 😉
