This is based on a drink, Black Death Schnapps, that Budd Sidewinder, from the Kill Bill films drinks.
this may not taste like Schnapps but is very tasty.
Chefs Choice Absinthe and JF Anise make the liquorice, whilst the absinthe also adds an extra boozy note.
Absinthe used low at 1.5 just for the light aniseed/liquorice like notes, JF Aniseed is a sweet aniseed a little lighter & more foregiving than others at 1.5% this adds a sweet aniseed with a light warming and a liquorice like mouthfeel.
0.5% Brandy from VT adds some low boozy fruit notes combined with 3% VT Vodka for a grain alcohol to try to get a Schnapps like taste.
2% CCW Blackcurrant adds some more syrupy fruit notes for the schnapps base whilst playing well with the Anise/Liquorice, finally WF (SC) Strawberry Baked darkens that Blackcurrant up a little to give a dark and syrupy blackcurrant
