I recently came back to give Vape Trains Carrot Cake another try, having added more concentrate's to my stash since last working with it. Pushing it higher, into their suggested 'shot' weight range, and with the addition of Flavorahs Pineapple, and Cheesecake-LA for the frosting, I've masked the off note I got from it when mixing with it at 4-5%, captured the essence of the actual cake I bake a couple of time's a year, and really enjoy this version.
The Walnut could be pushed a bit higher, or removed entirely. If you don't have Purilums Super Sweet, you owe it to yourself to pick it up. It's much different than Capella's, adding an inherent sweetness to the entire recipe, IMHO.
