Made for mixers helping mixers youtube show, custard episode, made with all WF.  A 28 day steep is needed for this to allow the custards and creams to meld but more importantly for the Bourbon to lose a slight floral like taste and blend properly into the mix.

The main body of the Custard is WF SC Vanilla Custard a beautiful creamy and light eggy custard used at 1.5% here to make sure it doesn't overpower the Vanilla Ruyan Custard used at 3.5% to work with the SC Custard and add some light tobacco (RY4) notes, Vanilla Ice Cream then added at 1% to add some depth to the custards with extra cream and vanilla notes. I then wanted to add some booze notes to this, what better than Bourbon, so Aged Bourbon cream used at 1.5% to further add richness to the custard layers as well as some light bourbon, the bourbon is then enhanced with the use of WF Bourbon at 0.5% as this is a fairly strong flavour 0.5% is enough to ensure that bourbon is one of the main flavours in this recipe.
