This is Smokey Blue's recipe with a slight tweak to add a rich smokey note. Why fix what is not broken? Smokey got it spot on. It just needs that little bit of smoke to bring it home.
I also find that a longer Steep allows those tobaccos to shine and lets the lime settle in without getting muted too much. The cream really benefits from the steep as it helps to smooth out the mouth feel.
